Emily Mode is a NY-based artist. Mode’s projects spotlight fissures in popular discourse and have shown at the Tate Modern, Melbourne Museum, Artists Space and Roebling Hall Art Gallery; at festivals internationally including the Kassel Documentary Film Festival in Germany, AbilityFest in India, Vo’Art/InArte in Portugal, the Philadelphia Medical Film Symposium; and won a Juror’s Choice 1st prize at the Black Maria Film Festival. She has been awarded grants from The Foundation for Contemporary Arts and the NY State Council for the Arts. Mode completed her undergraduate work at Hampshire College and received an MFA from Yale University. She is currently working on the graphic novel series titled RADIFY.
